Project AG exists to help adult travelers meet new people in the places
they're going. These Community Guidelines describe what we expect from
everyone who uses Project AG, what isn't allowed, and what happens when
someone crosses the line. They are part of our
Terms and Conditions
and apply alongside our
Privacy Policy.
Read these once. They're short on purpose — but they're the rules.
Be respectful
Treat every member of the community with respect, regardless of
background, identity, nationality, religion, ability, or beliefs.
Lead with curiosity. Thoughtful questions are welcomed; interrogations,
lectures, and unwanted advice are not.
Accept "no" gracefully. If someone unmatches, declines a
meet-up, or stops responding — move on. Persistent contact after a clear
no is harassment.
Use language and humor that travels. Sarcasm, regional slang, and inside
jokes don't always cross borders.
Be honest
Use real, recent photos of yourself — your face must be clearly visible
in your primary photo.
Be the age and gender you say you are.
Represent your travel plans accurately. If your trip changes, update
your itinerary in the app.
Don't impersonate other people, public figures, organizations, or
businesses.
Don't use AI-generated images of yourself, deepfakes, heavily filtered
face-swaps, or photos of someone else.
Be safe
Meet in public places, especially the first time. A café, a hotel lobby,
a busy plaza — never a private residence.
Tell someone you trust where you're going and when you expect to be
back.
Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong before, during, or after
a meet-up — leave, end the conversation, and report what happened.
Never send money and never share financial information
(card numbers, bank details, crypto-wallet addresses, gift-card codes)
with anyone you meet here. Anyone who asks is running a scam.
Keep early conversations on the app. Moving to outside platforms —
Telegram, WhatsApp, email — too quickly is a common red flag for fraud.
Research the local laws and customs of your destination. Some behavior
that's legal at home may not be legal where you're going.
Not allowed
The following will result in content removal, account suspension, or
permanent removal from Project AG, depending on severity. Where law
requires it, we will also report to the appropriate authorities.
Harassment, hate, and threats
Harassment, threats, stalking, doxxing (publishing private contact
details or address), or coordinated targeting of any person.
Hate speech or attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national
origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability,
age, or any similar characteristic.
Promotion of, or symbols associated with, terrorist or violent-extremist
organizations.
Glorification, incitement, or organization of real-world violence.
Sexual content and exploitation
Nudity or sexually explicit photos, descriptions, or solicitations of
any kind.
Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor. We report
suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for
Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and to
equivalent agencies in the country of the user, as required by law.
Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), or threats
to publish such content.
Solicitation of, or offers for, sex work or escorting, regardless of
whether the activity is legal in your jurisdiction.
Fraud, scams, and commercial misuse
Romance scams, advance-fee fraud, fake-emergency scams,
cryptocurrency-investment scams, or any attempt to defraud another user.
Multi-level marketing, recruiting, networking-event promotion, or any
other commercial use of the Service.
Selling, promoting, or soliciting purchases of goods or services through
the Service.
Spam, mass-messaging, link-farming, or use of automation tools to
interact with other users.
Illegal and dangerous activity
Use of the Service to facilitate human trafficking, smuggling,
kidnapping, or other crimes against the person.
Use of the Service to facilitate the sale or distribution of controlled
substances, weapons, or stolen goods.
Sharing of, or links to, malware, phishing pages, or anything designed
to compromise another user's device or accounts.
Privacy violations
Sharing another person's private information (real name, address,
workplace, photos, conversations) without their freely given, specific,
informed, and unambiguous consent.
Recording or photographing other users on or off the platform without
consent.
Attempting to identify, locate, or reach an Project AG user outside the
app against their wishes.
Account integrity
Underage use — Project AG is strictly 18+.
Operating more than one account, or returning after a permanent ban
under a new identity.
Buying, selling, sharing, or transferring an account.
Manipulating subscription, promotion, or refund mechanisms in bad faith.
Reporting
Use the Report affordance on any profile, message, or
piece of content to flag a possible violation. Reports are confidential —
the person you report cannot see your name or that a report was made about
them. Our trust-and-safety team reviews every report. If you or someone
else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
For urgent safety concerns that need our attention faster than the in-app
report, email safety@projectag.app. For suspected illegal content, you can
also email illegal-content@projectag.app — this address is monitored under
our Digital Services Act notice-and-action procedure.
Consequences
Violations are handled case-by-case, proportionately to the severity, the
user's history, and the impact on others. Possible outcomes:
Warning — a notice that a behavior is off-limits, with
a request to correct it.
Content removal — the offending photo, message, or
profile field is taken down.
Feature restriction — temporary loss of access to
specific features (for example, the ability to send new messages).
Account suspension — temporary loss of access to the
Service.
Permanent removal — your account is closed and you may
not register again. Permanent removal records are retained as described
in our Privacy Policy.
Law-enforcement referral — for content or behavior that
constitutes a crime, including CSAM, terrorism, threats, or human
trafficking.
Appeals. If you believe a moderation decision was wrong,
you can appeal to support@projectag.app within six (6) months of the
decision. Appeals are reviewed by a person who was not involved in the
original decision. EU users have the additional right to refer the dispute
to a certified out-of-court dispute-settlement body under Article 21 of
the Digital Services Act.
How we moderate
We use a combination of automated tools and human review:
Automated photo screening. Every uploaded photo is
checked by Amazon Rekognition for nudity, violence, and other
policy-violating content. A flagged photo is queued for human review
before any restriction takes effect, except for confirmed CSAM (which is
handled under mandatory legal procedures).
Automated text signals. We use rule-based and
statistical signals to detect spam, scams, and abusive language.
Borderline cases are escalated to human reviewers.
Human review. Trained members of our trust-and-safety
team review reports, appeals, and any automated flag that proposes a
user-visible restriction.
Transparency. Where we remove your content or restrict
your account, we will tell you the reason and how to appeal, except
where notifying you would compromise a safety investigation or violate a
law-enforcement order.
Changes
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Material
changes will be notified in the app at least 14 days before they take
effect.
